Reason # 999,999,999.....and on, why I love my husband so much:
We had to go out and pick up our daughter at a friends house yesterday who lives on the border of Murphy. Alan was already tired because he had worked all day long also on top of this so he was pooped. He first went to pick her up right after work but they hadnt gotten back home yet from the store they were at in another town. So he came back home, got me, then got back out to go pick her up when they got back.
So we went and at this same time we were also suppose to be picking up this kitten that we told Katie she could have from a friend who lived right down from where we were picking her up at.
Ok, no biggy. We get there and pick up katie and she tells us with tear stained eyes to nevermind about the cat, that the lady changed her mind and said she wasnt giving her up.So we proceed back home, get all the way to our road and katie receives a text saying, nevermind, she can have her if she wants her still. LOL
Katie hollers out oh my gosh, this lady cant make up her mind and now shes saying I can have her but its too late now because weve already drove all the way back home! As we are nearing our driveway I glance over to Alan and he glances over to me and I just knew lol. He pulled into our driveway and did a complete 360 turn and pulled back out of our driveway and onto the road again LOL
Katie started crying again and said he didnt have to, that was a long drive and costs gas money:) I just told her we knew that but that he also loves her and cares about her so thats why hes doing this heart emoticon So we got home late with no supper cooked yet but we had a very happy 16 yr old daughter with a big smile on her face while she cuddled her new kitty FuFu :)
